CALL TO ORDER, DETERMINATION OF A QUORUM,
AND CHAIRPERSON’S REPORT - Paul Panayotatos, Chairperson
- Newark Student Member of the Executive Committee Volunteer:
Daniel Rosario, Student Senator representing the Newark College of Arts
and Sciences, has volunteered to serve as this year's Newark student
member of the Executive Committee. The position was vacant last
semester because no candidates volunteered during the nomination
processes/solicitations. The Senate will be asked to place Senator
Rosario in the Executive Committee position by acclamation.

McCormick's Response to Senate report and recommendations on Charge CI-1106 on Input to the Code of Student Conduct
[Note: Academic Standards, Regulations and Admissions Committee (ASRAC)
Co-chair Martha Cotter will comment on the response, which is a
compromise agreed upon by the ASRAC chair and the administration, and
which Cotter believes is less cumbersome, improved approach than the
Senate's original recommendations. Cotter will be asked to comment at
this point in the agenda.]
