TRANSPORTATION AND MEETING TIMETABLE:

9:00 a.m. - New Brunswick and Camden Senators board charter bus for Newark at Lot 98B, College Farm Road, near Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences Building on the Cook Campus. Senators without F/S parking permits who wish to park in Lot 98B should contact the Senate office (email mj@rci.rutgers.edu or call 848.932.7642) no later than 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16 to be placed on a one-day, do-not-ticket list. Senators who are driving may park in Deck 1, located at 200 University Avenue - all F/S and Student parking permits will be honored.  Senators that do not have a valid RU parking permit and plan to park in Deck 1, should contact the Senate office to obtain a one-day validation coupon no later than Wednesday, February 15.
9:15 a.m. sharp - Bus departs from Cook Campus.
10:00 a.m. (approximately) - Bus arrives in Newark.
10:00 a.m. (or when the bus arrives from New Brunswick) to 11:45 p.m. - Standing Committee meetings
12noon to 12:50 p.m.  - Faculty and Student Caucuses.  (Faculty Caucus: Bergen Room 255/6/7, Student Caucus: Monmouth Room 237, Staff Caucus: Passaic Room 226, Alumni Caucus: Middlesex Room 224)
[Lunch will be provided in Essex 233 starting at 11:45 p.m. Please collect your lunch and take it to your caucus. Do not caucus in the lunch location.]

Post-Adjournment - Board charter bus for return trip.

Executive Committee Report on Senate Parliamentary Procedures - Jane Otto, Executive Committee Member   [This report proposes additions to the Senate's bylaws/Handbook. Therefore, in accordance with parliamentary procedure and established Senate practice regarding proposed changes to Senate bylaws, this item was docketed for introduction and prior notice at the previous meeting, and will be voted on at this Senate meeting.]

University Structure and Governance Committee (USGC) Response to Charge S-1404 on Revisions to University Policy Library - Jon Oliver and Robert Puhak, USGC Co-chairs

The USGC was charged as follows: Investigate the procedure for disseminating revisions to University Regulations in the University Policy Library, and make recommendations for improved communication within the University community. Consider to what extent the Senate, students, academic units, and other affected constituencies are informed of changes made to the University Policy Library.

Student Affairs Committee (SAC) Response to Charge S-1616 on Absentee Ballots in Special Student Organization Funding Referenda - Viktor Krapivin and Samuel Rabinowitz, SAC Co-chairs

The SAC was charged as follows: Investigate changing University Policy 10.3.3 on Funding for Special Student Organizations to allow for absentee ballots in referenda conducted based on that policy. Recommend revisions, as needed.

 (The April 28 meeting may convene at 10:30 or 11:00 a.m. This meeting is the last of this year's Senate, but will begin with the first meeting of next year's Senate, at which Senate officers, Executive Committee members, and board representatives will be elected. The start time will be determined by the Senate Executive Committee in April 2017.)
