We are working on a banner celebration for the 250^th Anniversary Commencement in 2016 and I wanted to find out if the University Senate has set the date yet for the ceremony? We would like to extend an invitation to a potential speaker and wanted to include the date in the request. Given the current format of 17 weeks of classes beginning the week of MLK's Birthday I am projecting that the spring semester in 2016 would run from Tuesday, January 19^th through Wednesday, May 11^th, with the ceremony on Sunday, May 15^th.
