University Structure and Governance Committee (USGC) Second-Draft Report on Charge S-0603, Senate Membership, New Brunswick (Part 2, Faculty) - Tricia Nolfi, USGC Chair

Potential Committee Charge:

To Academic Standards, Regulations and Admissions Committee*: Evaluate the efficiency of weekend exams. Consider the [SGA]'s "Resolution Against Weekend Exams," as well as the Senate's February 2000 adoption of weekend exams. Consult with the University Registrar and others to research the statistics on conflicts with these exams. Make recommendations as to whether weekend exams should be continued.

*From the ASRAC standing charge: " To study issues affecting the Academic Calendar, including receiving comment from all sectors of the University community concerning the Academic Calendar, offering recommendations for the University Academic Calendar to the University Senate for action, monitoring unit departures from the University Academic Calendar, reviewing matters concerning the University Commencement, and making recommendations, as needed."
