Thank you for sending the University Senate’s Resolution on the Draft University Policy on Parental Notification as presented by the Senate’s Student Affairs Committee. By copy of this letter, I am asking Dr. Emmet A. Dennis, Vice President for Student Affairs, to finalize and promulgate the policy, and through the Office of Compliance and Student Policy Concerns to monitor the implementation of this policy. I share the view of the Senate that Rutgers must remain consistent in supporting each student as an individually responsible and mature person.
