Thank you for forwarding the March 24, 2000 University Senate Resolution on Admission to the School of Business. Please communicate to the members of the Senate that I appreciate both their intention and effort in drafting this resolution. An admissions program which jointly admits students to the Faculty of Arts and Sciences or University College and the School of Management is currently being piloted on the Newark campus. We will thoroughly evaluate the Newark experience, and based on that assessment, intend to begin discussing the feasibility of implementing joint first-year admission to the School of Business and the undergraduate colleges on the New Brunswick campus.
