TEXT OF PRESIDENT'S McCORMICK'S APRIL 14, 2006 RESPONSE TO SENATE REPORT ON USE OF COURSE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS:

I am writing in response to the University Senate’s Report on Use of Course Management Systems, which was adopted at its September 30, 2005 meeting.

My administration accepts the report and agrees with the recommendations it contains, in particular that Rutgers should move toward the use of one primary course management system.  The members of the Instruction, Curricula, and Advising Committee have my thanks for their thoughtful work in compiling the report.

Sincerely yours,
Richard L. McCormick
