-
This election is being held at this meeting because no eligible
candidates were nominated during the May 2013 election. The name and
"campaign statement" of one nominee appear below. Nominations
may also be made from the floor during this meeting. Candidates are
eligible
only if they are currently certified as University Senators
representing Camden students.
Statement of Camden Student Member of
the Senate Executive Committee Nominee Patrick
Tiedeken (School of Business - Camden): "I
would like to be the Executive Committee
Member for Rutgers University representing the Camden campus. I feel I
have the
necessary experience and leadership skills to fill the roll
exceptionally. As a
2nd year member of Student Government, I listen to the concerns of
students and
bring those concerns to the governing board. I am also knowledgeable on
internal university operations. Lastly, I have extensive experience
working on
teams through student organizations, greek life, and professional
internships.
A team player with leadership skills is key to making change happen in
the University
Senate, and I feel I exemplify those skills."
