which we are submitting to the University Senate, with the strong
endorsement of Central Administration, for its consideration and
affirmative recommendation. I would be happy to speak with you about
this, as would Wendell Pritchett and our other colleagues in Camden. Please let us know if you require any additional information. Thank you for your attention to this proposal. All best.

Subject: Nursing Proposal
Dear Dick and Phil,
Attached please find the proposal for the School of Nursing at Rutgers-Camden.
This document has been prepared by Dr. Joanne Robinson, Chair of the
Nursing Department, and Dr. Carol Germain, Director of Nursing Program
Development, with the input of Executive Dean Margaret Marsh and Vice
Chancellor Larry Gaines.
Also attached please find a budget pro forma and narrative explanation for the proposed school, prepared by Vice Chancellor Larry Gaines.
This proposal was reviewed by Rob Heffernan, Director of Institutional Research, and has been shared with Dean Bill Holzemer.
At this point, with Phil’s approval, we ask that the proposal be
submitted to the Faculty Senate for approval, and then to the Board of
Governors. We would very much like to have this presented to the Board
at the April meeting.
At this point I would like to thank Joanne Robinson and Carol Germain
for their leadership on this very important initiative for our campus.
We look forward to working with you as we move this proposal forward.
Best, Wendell
