[Explanatory Note: Executive
Committee (EC) Full-time Faculty Members include one from Camden, one
from Newark, one from New Brunswick, and two at-large (any campus).
Also, candidates who run for Chair or Vice Chair but do not win the
election for those positions are automatically entered into the pool of
candidates for EC Full-time Faculty, so all are included in the slate
at the outset to avoid the need for a runoff election mid-meeting. By
voting for one (or more, if there are nominations from the floor for
Chair or Vice Chair) more candidate than will ultimately be elected,
you can be assured that your vote for a candidate who wins as Chair or
Vice Chair will not be wasted. However, if you vote for more EC Faculty
than instructed, it will invalidate the EC Faculty portion of your
ballot. Please follow the
instructions of the Nominating Panel chair carefully. The
candidates receiving the highest number of votes in each campus
category (Camden, Newark, New Brunswick) will secure those positions,
and the At-Large positions will be filled by those who receive the
highest number of votes from the remaining candidates.]
