SPECIAL ELECTION - NEWARK STUDENT SENATOR MEMBER OF THE SENATE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE: No candidates were nominated during last year's election of Senate Executive Committee members. The Newark Student Member of the Executive Committee will be elected at today's Senate meeting. Eligible Senators were notified of the opportunity to self-nominate for the position, but at the time of posting of this agenda, there had been no volunteers. Nominations may be made from the floor during this portion of the Senate agenda. If there are no nominees, the position will remain vacant until an eligible Newark Student Senator candidate can be nominated.

COMMITTEE REPORTS 

Academic Standards, Regulations and Admissions Committee (ASRAC) Response to Charge CI-1106 on Input to the Code of Student Conduct - Martha Cotter and Dan Schantz, ASRAC Co-chairs
The Committee had been charged as follows: Charge CI-1106 - Input to the Code of Student Conduct: Examine the process by which changes are made to the Code of Student Conduct, including resolution of potential conflicts with the Academic Integrity Policy. Submit for Senate consideration recommendations for improving the process by which the Code of Student Conduct is revised. [Note: The "CI" prefix on this charge designation indicates "Committee Initiative." This charge is issued after the Academic Standards, Regulations and Admissions Committee had completed its work on the issue.]
