Potential Charges:

To Budget and Finance Committee on Senator Rudy Bell’s question regarding
how Summer Session revenues are distributed.

To Budget and Finance Committee regarding the committee’s own list of potential
action areas for the year. Committee Co-Chair Michael Hamm asks,
“Would you please review this list and let us know 1) that the items are
appropriate for our committee, and, if so, 2) make any formal charges that
need to be made?” The list includes the following topics:

Safety issues

Access to recreational space parking and transportation

Facilities Master Plan review

Enrollment trends and how to manage

Potential budget cuts and budgets

Budget and Finance Committee requests extension of deadline on Charge S-0111,

are in place for use of Administrative_Email, especially concerning sports
promotion.
5. Old Business
From the October 2001 Executive Committee Minutes:

Student Financial Management and Credit-Card Debt: A committee, chaired
by Dean Marie Logue, has been formed and charged with this topic.
Chairperson Scott will call Dean Logue, and will report to the Executive
Committee at the November 2001 meeting.

Disclosure of FASIP Awards: University Vice President Seneca offered
to report on this subject, including whether departments have been informed
of their options under the Senate’s resolution, at the November 2001 Executive
Committee meeting. Dr.
Seneca's memo is listed above under "Communications." The original
Committee Report and Resolution are also online.

Wintersession: University Vice President Seneca will also report
on this issue at the November meeting. The executive Committee asked
that the report include information on Wintersession’s first two years,
proposed modifications for the third year, and plans to incorporate Senate
suggestions into the final year of the pilot program.
6. New Business
Discussion of a program described by Corinne Webb to the Academic Coordinating
Council, which is proposed to offer students “who are otherwise inadmissible”
admission to a community college, and Rutgers as a transfer student after
completing an AA degree, with the proviso that they must take certain courses
and maintain a certain average.
